Dinty's Motor Inn

Great little motel. Sure, not the newest place but that's not necessarily a bad thing. The rooms, in my opinion are kept up nice and the staff is very friendly. That's the main thing that matters. Location is very convenient too with me being a trucker.

Arrived at 1:30am, having called ahead of time that we would get there after hours because of bad weather. The manager was very nice and welcoming. Our room had been already heated, making things so much nicer! The room and bathroom was very clean, and featured great amenities and a comfortable bed. Very happy with our stay! We'll be back if we need a place to stay in the area!

Nice little motel. As the pictures show, the rooms/furniture look a little dated but are clean and in good shape. Beds are comfortable. Compared to the free WiFi that is unusable slow at hotels that I’ve paid literally 3x more than this place, this free WiFi is actually fast. Super nice owners that makes your stay at this otherwise average motel an above average experience. The rate was more than reasonable for a single king bed during the busy summer season (it was actually the least expensive room within many miles). Linda’s restaurant across the street has good food to eat while you’re here. Bottom line: rated 5 stars even though this is not a 4-star hotel, but you don’t pay anywhere near 4-star prices. Worth every penny and the awesome owners make it even better. I would absolutely stay here again.

Nice clean rooms, friendly staff at the hotel and the Deli/store. Would have been great if that pool was open. And also maybe a dog friendly place with grass. My poor pup got a thorn in her paw in the only place I seen to take them which was just rock with dead foliage and thorns.

Everything you'd want in an on-the-road stop. The unpretentious room was exceptionally clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel looks over the highway and train tracks in the Gorge yet maintains a quiet setting. I could hear trains in the distance but was not disturbed by them as I rested. Woke to a lovely sunrise over the river. Dinty's market offers up a good coffee (was even able to have a non-dairy latte!) and an assortment of tasty snacks for on the road. Will be returning when I'm visiting the Gorge.

I always stay here on my way to and from Idaho. Nice place with great customer service. it's very quiet and the beds are quite comfortable and as a bonus has an incredible view of the Columbia River.

First off this place was $79 a night and in the smallest town I've ever been to. We were in a pinch and so sick of driving so this place saved the day. Secondly- the gentleman that works the front desk was amazing! He is why this place was given a 4 star by me. Now the bad things- the place is incredibly old and outdated but mostly the 2 chairs in the room were covered in what I can only imagine was dried body fluids so we brought in our own pillows, blankets and bed mat cause we were disgusted with the chairs, we didn't want to sleep directly on the bed.

We were so pleasantly surprised by this place! The staff is super friendly and the rooms are clean. The fixtures are dated, but still quite functional and the A/C unit is new and has a remote control. They are not stingy with their bath towels, which are also obviously new and quite fluffy. There is a Roku connected to the TV so you can watch any streaming service you have a login for. There is a great view of the river out the back window and relatively little freeway noise, even though it's so close. Their general store is also quite well stocked, has great breakfast, and provides a free coffee for hotel guests. We will absolutely stay here again if we're passing through!
